Renee, thank you for allowing me to share my story. And thank you for the beautiful work you’re doing as you help us nurture our dreams and make them a reality. You are AMAZING 😘💖
This post reminds me of the countless times I've sat under trees—whether it’s the massive sequoias of Northern California or even the ones I’ve imagined, towering over me like ancient giants. That mix of awe and wonder you describe? I’ve felt it too, staring up and thinking, "What worlds are hidden just beyond my reach?" It’s the same feeling that sparks creativity, whether I'm writing a book, a short story, or even coming up with a wild YouTube idea.
The part about seeds needing fire to grow hit me hard. I’ve always thought about growth as something that happens quietly, slowly, and over time, but this image of needing a fire—that sudden spark—is so true. It’s like the chaotic moments in life, the ones that burn away comfort, are what push you forward. I’ve felt that spark plenty of times, especially when deciding to write *Chaos and Comfort*. Every struggle felt like a challenge to let those stories out into the world, to trust that the heat was part of the process.
And then there’s that little bit of doubt, the “Am I good enough? Is this worth it?” That struggle is real. But like you said, embracing imperfection and trusting that your voice matters—that’s everything. Whether it’s putting stories out there or just finding new ways to connect with people, that sense of wonder we carry from childhood into our creative journeys is what makes it all worth it. This piece really brought me back to that—standing before something bigger than myself, and knowing I can’t see the whole picture yet, but that doesn’t mean I’m not part of it. Beautiful post!
Joshua, thank you for sharing your journey. It sounds like we share similar experiences and see the world through the eyes of wonder and curiosity. Congratulations on your book! I love the title! And it makes my heart SO happy to know that these words resonated with you.
You said it beautifully…

Thank you for being here and connecting. 💖
I would love to know…what’s a create project that you’re excited about right now? 😊
Right now, I am working on a YouTube channel called LAD Town. It started out as an idea to write dark and light stories on one platform. But, I came up with this character called Elena the Dolphin who goes around saving the ocean:) And, it seems to be getting some traction. So, maybe after many years unsuccessful projects , I might have found a little niche
