Here’s what I’m learning about value creation, whether it’s in your business, your personal finances, or anything else:
You are the value.
How you speak.
How you carry yourself.
The words coming out of your mouth.
The way you rear back laughing like J.K. Simmons in Spider-Man.
The jealousy you feel or don’t feel.
The enjoyment, relaxation, prosperity, ease you allow yourself to feel or don’t feel.
The strategy isn’t the value.
You are the value.
The way you don’t give up when implementing a new strategy.
The way you believe there’s gotta be a breakthrough, despite the strategy.
They way you believe the past strategy didn’t work, so this other strategy might.
It’s not the strategy that has value.
The strategy only has value because it has you to implement it.
You are the value.
Money only has value because it has you to spend it.
Your house only has value because you value living in it.
Your business has value to you because something about it keeps you hopeful.
You are the value.
Many of you all run businesses, consultancies, practices, or coach others.
And the reason people want what you have to offer is because you want what you have to offer.
You want yourself.
You want your own joy.
You want your own congruency.
You want your own freedom to experience, play, enjoy, and imagine.
Here’s some encouragement to you all as you sell, market, and run your businesses (and books) this week:
Seek strategy, while investing in your self-belief.
Implement strategy, while investing in your enjoyment.
Experience strategy, while enjoying the unfolding of your dreams.
Business strategies, book marketing strategies, launch strategies…
They’re a dime a dozen.
Hell, I have one.
The thing that is irreplaceable is you.
If you’ve implemented strategies that didn’t work for you in the past, remember, you are the value.
Not the strategy.
How much are you enjoying?
Playing?
Laughing like J.K. Simmons in Spider-Man?
How much are you forgiving yourself?
If you’ve tried other strategies in the past, and they didn’t work, forgive yourself.
Forgive yourself for what you didn’t know.
To forgive yourself is to love yourself.
To love yourself is to love your prospects & clients.
To love your prospects & clients, friends, family, and beyond is to experience the abundance of Life.
You are the value.
Treat yourself nice today.
Get a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks.
Don’t get the small.
Get the Venti.
Marvel at the blue October sky and the red leaves.
Feel the sparkling of the sun on the Chattahoochee River match the sparkling of your soul.
